Less food for longer life

If you decrease the calories you take with food to 600 per day, dramatically increases our chance to live long enough to deep old age, says Dr. Michael Moseley. Forget the gym, complicated diets, separate dining and miraculous pills - if you want to live longer, eat less, advises prominent British expert quoted by the newspaper "Daily Mail". Dr. Michael Moseley, the host of scientific transmission of BBC "horizontal", pointed out that high metabolism, that is clogging up the body with energy needed to carry out normal functions, is a risk factor and leads to early death. Mosley noted that some communities in Japan and USA, which strictly adhere to the lower calorie diet live much longer than the average rate. If you decrease the calories you take with food to 600 per day, dramatically increases our chance to live long enough to deep old age. "This is by far probably the only thing that has been shown to prolong life, said Mosley.
Finally, aging is associated with high metabolism which in turn increases the amount of free radicals that consume. " Dr. Moseley advised to adhere to the maxim "What does not kill us makes us stronger." He said there is no need to eat three times a day. "What we think is hunger is often very pure habit", the expert believes. In this edition of the show he said that frequent fasts have the same beneficial effect as to drastically cut calories as decreased amounts of the hormone IGF-1. Its function is to restore the tissues, but high levels contribute to the development of tumors and premature aging. According to recent survey of experts from London, "University College" if they reduce their food by 40 percent, we can extend life by 20 years, the newspaper said.
